Amazing young actresses almost forgotten today from the films of the 1920s to the music of “Baby” as performed in 1928 by Abe Lyman and HIs Orchestra, with vocalist Phil Neely. The dying flame of a few of these actresses such as Clara Bow still flickers but most are totally unknown today after being household names in the 20s silent movies. One of these young actresses, Farina Hoskins, was actually a boy who always played the part of a girl in the old Hal Roach comedies. A few of the actresses are referred to as WAMPAS BABIES. Those were 13 young actresses chosen each year in the 1920s by the Western Association of Motion Picture Advertisers as having the talent necessary to make it in the industry. Second n the series of 4 early actress videos.Brunswick Records label 4136 1928.
